In the intellectual system of Imam Khomeini (RA), true peace is a way of moral life in human relationships and interactions and is characterized by two characteristics: "humane" and "honorable." This is indicative of the Imam's positive approach to peace, meaning that true peace requires the realization of principles and values through which humanity and human honor are ensured. Therefore, understanding the concept of humane and honorable peace requires the explanation of these principles and values. Accordingly, the subject of the present article is what principles and values in Imam Khomeini's thought can be considered positive conditions for the realization of humane and honorable peace? To answer this question, we have shown through descriptive and analytical methods that the most important of these principles are preserving the inherent dignity and respect of human beings, the practice of justice, and respecting the right to freedom. By analyzing the meaning of these values and their necessary conditions, an attempt has been made to provide a meaning of humane and honorable peace from the perspective of Imam Khomeini
