This study, posing the central question “What is the place of political mysticism in the thought of Mir Seyyed Ali Hamadani, and what model does he offer for an ideal government?”, examines the relationship between spirituality and politics in his works. The necessity of this research lies in the fact that, although numerous studies have addressed Hamadani’s mystical and ethical dimensions, the political and social aspects of his thought have been less systematically explored. The research employs a qualitative approach based on content analysis of his two key works, Zakhireh-ye Moluḵ and Sab‘īn, alongside historical and contemporary studies. The findings indicate that Hamadani regards politics as part of the path of divine knowledge and portrays the ruler as the “trustee of the people and a seeker of the path of truth.” The objectives of an ideal government, from his perspective, include the realization of social justice, provision of welfare and development, expansion of security, promotion of ethics and spirituality, and strengthening of social cohesion. Thus, mysticism in Hamadani’s thought is not a marginal aspect but the foundation of political legitimacy and stability. Revisiting this model may inspire the design of ethical and people-centered governance in contemporary contexts.
