The formation of the Islamic Republic of Iran based on Velayat-e-Faqih is one of the achievements of Imam Khomeini in the field of jurisprudence and politics. Rational and mystical has proved Velayat-e-Faqih, this article tries to answer the question how Imam Khomeini has proved Velayat-e-Faqih with different epistemological approaches and has mixed it?

Findings show that Imam Khomeini proves the principle of Velayat-e-Faqih in three ways according to the position of Velayat-e-Faqih. In books such as Velayat-e-Faqih and Al-Bayy, he has referred to the rational-narrative approach with reference to it, and in his mystical books, he has proved Velayat-e-Faqih with an intuitive approach.
