Common approach to examining the concept of revolution and revolution has been limited to the political section of Shari'a's thoughts because Shariati emphasized political, pragmatic, and ideological Islam. In this research, we tried to show using the post-writing method to understand the concepts in the Shari'ati thought system, paying attention to the ontological dimensions of his thought can provide a different view. The structuralist method made it possible to view the Shari'a thought as a system through an external observer The result of the study is that the revolution for him was not merely political and related to political action at a particular time, which was to form a particular type of government, and then to be stable. According to him, a purely political revolution is a Marxist ideology and, in his view, inadequate. The revolution, more than before, was for him an ontological and self-conscious matter. The social revolutions will continue, because revolution, rebellion, movement, and are the ontological aspects of human history.
