Migration as one of the basic cultural-political components of Shia, has always been trackablein the thought of great Shia scholars, and Imam Khomeini as the most prominent Shia scholar of the contemporary era has important viewpoints in regard with this concept. It should be noted that value-centered approach towards “migration” has put it among key concepts in order to understand Shia structure. A two-sided concept that has found a particular meaning in relation to internalismand Shia mysticismand it finds a different meaning the externalism framework of Shia. One of the externalism dimensions of migration is its political approach. Thus the main question of the present paper is what is the effect of mystical migration on political migration in the thought of Imam Khomeini? The findings of this study suggests that the migrant person shall initially do an internalized and mystic migration in order to do a political migration, in other words, mystical migration in the thought of Imam Khomeini is the required condition for the political migration. The present research is a qualitative study which is taken place with a descriptive-analytical method and data collection is done through reading documents and reference to the extant resources.
