In contemporary period, various currents such al-Qaeda and ISIS have been able to attract many followers by using the ideology of Salafism and Takfir. Issues such referring to the Salafe Saleh and the sanctity of words such caliphate, jihad, martyrdom and support of countries like USA are the most important reasons for the spread of Takfir. the purpose of this study is to investigate the role of Saudi Arabia in spreading the idea of takfir. the question is what role has Saudi Arabia played in the spread of the idea of Takfir in the Islamic world? Considering that the approach of Salafism and Takfir has been supported and propagated by various individuals and groups, and this approach in the form of Wahhabism has formed the official religion of Saudi Arabia, the hypothesis is that the spread of Takfir means the spread of the official ideology of Saudi Arabia and is therefore supported and propagated by this country. The present study has used the constructivist approach and descriptive-analytical method to the role of Saudi Arabia in spreading the idea of Takfir.
