The intellectual roots of the recent Islamic Awakening in the Arab world go back to a relatively distant past, during which the intellectuals of these societies, with the aim of finding a way to motivate the Arab Muslim people against the rapidly spreading waves of Western development, To design a successful model of Islam at the time of its emergence as Utopia, to revive the ancient Islamic heritage.
Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood, which had long claimed to provide a global model for the well-being of Muslims and is now in power in Egypt, was more responsible than any other group for carrying out this rethinking.
The present article intends to review the background of Salafi ideology as a way to deal with the intellectual crisis caused by the acceleration of Western development in the Arab world, how to rethink it in the form of Salafi ijtihad approach in the current world in the minds of the religious community and the Brotherhood Explore the manifested Muslims using a descriptive-analytical method.
