Muslim political philosophers had to think about War and peace when discussing prevailing relations between human beings. Al-Fārābī has a significant place, because of the depth and breadth of thinking about war and peace. However, the Persian works, focusing on Al-Fārābī's view, are not at all appropriate for and worthy to the "founder of Islamic political philosophy". These works suffer from serious defects both in number and in content. Look at some of these studies and focusing on a great example of a false reading of Al-Fārābī, this paper tries to reveal some of the inappropriate status of contemporary studies on Al-Fārābī. the present study focuses on the article "Explanation of Peace in Fārābī’s Theory on Medina al-Musālamah and Kant's Permanent Peace Theory", and attempts to measure the scientific validity of the article in three aspects respectively, explaining the viewpoint of the author of that article; comparing with Al-Fārābī's viewpoint; and eventually elucidating the correct aspects of own reading. Concluding, contrary to the opinion of the mentioned article, the peace-loving régime and the virtuous régime are contradictory in Al-Fārābī’s.
