The present article examines the confrontation between Seyyed Qutb and Hisham Sharabi with the phenomenon of the West. For this purpose, a phenomenological four-step model has been designed that includes: encountered defaults; Initial exposure (initial image formation); Awareness (cognition) and ultimately reaction (solution). Based on this model, it can be said that Seyyed Qutb's presuppositions stem from his Islamist attitude. In other words, he looks at the phenomenon of the West from the perspective of the originality of Islam; In contrast, wine presuppositions have largely emerged from critical attitudes - specifically Marxism and psychoanalysis ، especially from the perspective of Marxist concepts such as imperialism, from alienation to the Western phenomenon; In the initial confrontation, Seyyed Qutb sees mainly negative aspects (such as the social anomalies of the West), and in his view, the positive aspects in the West are also the result of his acquaintance with Islam; In contrast, wine in its initial encounter with the West sees it as a combination of positive aspects (modernized society based on rationality and science) and negative (colonialism);
