Self-determination is not a mere principle, but a right. This right belongs to nations and their individuals and has been mentioned in the first article of the United Nations Charter. Self-determination is the basis for creating peace, friendly relations, and peaceful coexistence among nations. In the light of the Convention on Political and Civil Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the rights stemming from the right to self-determination are divided into political, economic and cultural rights. The two conventions have established the right for peoples to determine their own political, economic and social systems. At the same time, establishment of a system under the people’s rule was among the main goals of Imam Khomeini's revolution, something that he always insisted on during his struggles against the monarchical rule. Imam Khomeini maintained that this right is based on reason and is among peoples' fundamental rights. He was also of the opinion that based on reason and International Declaration of Human Rights, all nations, in all areas, should be able to determine what they wanted. The objective of this research is to investigate the reflection of the right to self-determination in light of the Islamic Revolution, in viewpoint of Imam Khomeini in comparison with international documents. To this end, descriptive-analytical method has been employed in this research}, keywords = {Self-determination,Imam Khomeini,International Documents}, title_fa = {حق تعیین سرنوشت از دیدگاه امام خمینی با مقایسه تطبیقی در اسناد بین‌المللی}, abstract_fa = {حق تعیین سرنوشت، حقی بشری است که افراد و ملت‌ها می‌توانند به کمک آن وضعیت زندگی اجتماعی خود را بهبود و سرنوشت خود را در مسائل مختلف اجتماعی، سیاسی و غیره تعیین نمایند. تعیین سرنوشت صرفاً یک اصل نیست بلکه حق است و این حق، حق ملت‌ها و متعلق به تک‌تک افراد مردم می‌باشد و در ماده یک منشور سازمان ملل در زمره اهداف این سازمان قرار گرفته است و به‌عنوان پایه و مبنای ایجاد صلح میان ملت‌ها و روابط دوستانه و مسالمت‌آمیز میان دولت و مردم یاد شده است. با توجه به میثاق حقوق سیاسی و مدنی و میثاق بین‌المللی حقوق اقتصادی، اجتماعی، حقوق ناشی از حق تعیین سرنوشت به حقوق سیاسی، اقتصادی، اجتماعی و فرهنگی تقسیم‌بندی می‌شود. این میثاقین این حق را برای مردم ایجاد کرد تا بتوانند نظام سیاسی، اقتصادی و اجتماعی خودشان را تعیین کنند. از سوی دیگر حق تعیین سرنوشت و ایجاد نظامی تحت حاکمیت مردم، از برجسته‌‌ترین اهداف انقلاب امام خمینی(رحمه‌الله علیه) بود که همواره در دوران مبارزه علیه رژیم سلطنتی بدان تأکید داشتند و ایشان بیان می‌داشتند که اولاً این حق، مبتنی بر حکم عقل و از حقوق اولیه انسان است و ثانیاً بنا بر حکم عقل و اعلامیه جهانی حقوق بشر همه مردم ملت‌ها حق دارند در همه زمینه‌ها چه سیاسی و چه غیر آن سرنوشت خود را تعیین نمایند. هدف این پژوهش آن است که با به‌کارگیری روش تحلیلی_ توصیفی ماهیت و نمود حق تعیین سرنوشت را در تلالو انقلاب اسلامی ایران از دیدگاه امام خمینی(رحمه‌الله علیه) با مطالعه تطبیقی در اسناد بین‌المللی روشن نماید.}, keywords_fa = {حق تعیین سرنوشت,امام خمینی,اسناد بین‌المللی}, url = {https://andishehsiyasi.ri-khomeini.ac.ir/article_69865.html}, eprint = {https://andishehsiyasi.ri-khomeini.ac.ir/article_69865_64b298706dd394d48f959501d16a13b4.pdf} }
